At the FEPS AGM on 17 May John Bateman was awarded Honorary Membership of the Society. John, seen left receiving his certificate of Honorary membership from Chair Marilyn Dennis, is one of the
Society's oldest members. In fact he was one of the founder members of the Club when in 1974 FEPS was born from an amalgamation of
the Pinner and Northwood Camera Club and the Ruislip and Eastcote Camera Club. Over the years John has served the Society in a number of posts including Chair and External Competitions Secretary.
His wealth of experience continues to prove invaluable to the Society, particularly in selecting images for our external competitions.
John donated a beautiful rosebowl to the club in memory of his late wife Norma and the annual Norma Bateman Rosebowl competition is one of the highlights of the Society's year.
Many congratulations to John on his Honorary Membership.
